i may be going to look at this car today...here is what the seller wrote about it:

"i have a 91 camaro rs for sale. its a auto with t-tops. the 305 in it is knocking. the only body damage is a cracked nose and a the passenger corner of the hood is dented other than that its a good body. the interior is ok it could use the seats being recovered and a dash pad being its cracked. the trans shifts good and has a new mount. the front brakes r also new. $800 obo"

im no mechanic, but ive read on here some, that a knocking noise may not necessarily be a rod, but something else like an exhaust leak. i have a limited budget for major mainentance (such as an engine rebuild, etc) and am contemplating if this car is worth buying. what do you guys think??
