Engine: 350

Transmission: 700-R4

Axle/Gears: stock 3.73

alternator question need help fast

I've got a 84 trans am, and I need to know if the black wire going from the positive terminal on the battery goes to the alternator stud that also holds the small red wire. anyone have a wiring diagram?

heh, when I put mine in, I got the wires backwards and my car wouldnt shut off!
