No. Absolutely not.
Except for some of the very few with RPO B4C; which was the police car option. A TPI 350 could be had in those. But, even though they looked like RSs as far as body trim, you'd be hard-pressed to actually call them "RS"; they were alot more like the 1LE Z28s under the skin.

Whether some dealers were willing to install a 350 in a "used" car, I have no knowledge one way or the other. Same for export models.
GM however, did not, in domestic models. In order to offer it as an option it would have had to be emissions-certified; an expensive, laborious process. It was not. Therefore it could not be sold by any dealer as a "new" car.
Therefore there is also no RPO (Regular Production Option) code, since it wasn't a regular production option.
Regardless of anyone's fantasy of running across one someday; or what they think they heard their brother-in-law say their friend at work's dad's ex-wife's boss heard somebody say at a car show once, or what some used-car salesman is claiming. The law is the law. It makes no exception for hot-rodders.

this is so far from the truth it's rediculous.
as for the 5.7L RS camaro's, as posted they were available, but only with the B4C option. this is the police package. some general public had bought them, but mainly they were purchased for police duty only. they are all over the place these days and not difficult to find since the remaining one's have been sold by the dept.'s and replaced with newer models.
