where is the horn?

ok guys now i am not talking about on the steering wheel!!! i mean under the hood, i had bought a 1989 pontiac firebird formula a few days ago and the battery was dead, so after giving it a tune up and some other minor things i replaced the battery, when i connected it this LOUD alarm went off. i was in my garage with the door closed so it was loud as hell!!! i think i had 2 and a half heart attacks.

i didnt know the car had an alarm and i dont have a clicker device to shut it off, it didnt even go off when i put the key in and went to the on position. anyway after disconeccting the battery i looked at what was making the noise, it says horn siroen(i cant spell, still scared from the loud alarm!) on it, i want to kill it as soon as i can, but i want my car to have a horn.

anywho its located on the drivers side front wheel well inside the engine bay next to the windsheild wiper fluid container. if this is no the horn for the car please let me know and where can i find the accuall horn? i cant wait to get my revenge on that little alarm!!!!

I just realized this is probably not the right section of the fourm for this, sorry about that everyone

what u described is the factory location of the horn. unscrew the little ground right next to it, that can kill the sound till u turn off the alarm.
