car starts and then stalls

Ok, i have a 1991 camaro rs with a 305 tbi. last winter i rebuilt the engine and after i reinstalled it it ran fine for 3 or 4 months. then all of the sudden when i try to start it, it will just cranks and cranks then it will start and then die immediately. it will do this 8 or 9 times before it will start ad run. then after that it runs fine. i have done a lot of tests on the computer and fuel systems. it has come down to a lack of fuel problem and it has a new fuel pump in it. when it starts and dies the injectors are only trickling fuel. i have been working on this problem sence october so if anyone out there has had a similar problem or just has some advice i would very much appriciate it.

I am experiencing the same problem. I also have a newer fuel pump installed. Anyone have any suggestions?

Bad new fuel pump, restriction in the fuel lines up to the injectors, ECM not telling the injectors to fire, fuel filter, fuel pressure regulator, fuel pump relay could all cause this. Use a fuel pressure gauge and try the ALDL connector to force the pump on.
