Would this work?
I deleted the blower motor and box when I deleted my ac system a long time ago, I regret doing so but its not too much of an inconvenience, just have to bundle up a little warmer.
My friends blazer who im pulling a 350 out of has a blower box that looks like it MIGHT fit with some modification. Im not scared of fiber glass because my friend patt works with it all the time.

When I "deleted" the air conditioning out of my Firebird, I installed two 12v electric windshield defosters so they blow hot air up into the origional defroster ducts under the dash.
Normally these heaters plug into the cigarette lighter for power.
I Hard-Wired them into the origional OEM fan switch on the dash.
Ya can't tell. They give off enough heat to defrost the windshield and take the chill out of the car for cold nights or mornings. You can buy these auxillary electric defrosters from most auto parts stores or JC Penny.
The discharge temp of these 12v dashboard defrosters is about 100F.
two of them is enough to get the job done for all but extreme cold.

That's pretty awesome. I only drive my car 6 months of the year, so that'd work very well if I didn't already have the AC delete box.

Where did you actually place them? That seems like a perfect idea, My mom actually used one of those back when her heater core went and I never thought about that because I havent actually had to drive my camaro in the snow yet *im lucky, kinda*
