Oil Pressure Keeps Moving Around

OK, im driving along and I start to hear beeps, i look around, no lights on, so i ignore it.

So, i slow down at a red light and it happens again, I happen to look at the Oil Pressure Guage, and it's at 0, then immediately rises back up to around 30, and starts to hover between the two numbers, while at idle.

When im driving normally the pressure usually tops off near 60, but when I slow down somewhere at a light or whatnot, it drops low again.

The car drives perfectly fine when the pressure at 0, so im guessing it may be the Oil Pressure Sending Unit?

drop the pan, put it new oil pump with pickup and something to attach both together so they dont come apart. Jegs sells a metal brace just for this purpose.

i am not worried about mine enough yet to make me drop the pan.

i would keep it simple;
remove sender, hookup psi guage, verry cheap,
plum it into sender, hose n fittings, see what you got.
