help my car is leaking oil
well today im driving my car and i notice the oil pressure gauge is reading 0 at a stop or when im going very slow. it goes up to 20-25 when im driving at normal or high speed. so i looked under my car and it is leaking motor oil little my little. i looked were it coming from and it hard to see its runing down the oil filter housing maybe by the drverside of the engine. has this happen to anyone and can you tell me what to look for thanks. it a 350TPI

how much of a leak is it? best thing to find out for sure where it is comming from would be to clean the area up as best as you can then drive it. you should see new oil from somwhere. this cleanup means both above and below where you think it might be. oil does weird things when leaking.
if it is just a small leak I doubt it is going to cause much of ap roblem though still would be best to fix.
another thing with the oil prssure is it might be related to the sending unit. best way to find out is either just replace the sending unit or hook up a mechanical gauge to double check the pressure rather then depend upon the chinsy cheap GM part

if its leaking down the filter housing the rms and oil pan gasket are out of the question due to the way gravity works. Most likely its a valve cover gasket leaking.. but it's all mere speculation without actually being able to look at it..

You had poor oil press reading, and thats when the leak showed up? Is the sending unit leaking?

Another option....jack the car up and take a rag to the underside and clean off every oil soaked piece. Then start it up let it run a minute or so and crawn under it after its shut off and try and find the leak then.
