knock sensor and loud exhaust

Can your knock sensor be affected by a loud exhaust system ? I just put true duals on my GTA (crude home job that ends at the axle) and at certain RPM's one muffler contacts the bottom of the car which causes a rattle, could this cause my sensor to try to back the timing off ? The setup is only temporary until I can get a good single 3 inch system.

shouldnt....i believe the knock sensor only "reads" a certain frequency or a small range... i dunno if your rattle will produce the same frequency...
