Since i live in california and emissions are strict here, would anyone know where to purchase a good air pump online? or is it cheaper to get off the auto parts store?

 

Dealership Parts Departments are probably going to be a bit higher, just because they are using genuine GM parts supplied through the GM distribution system. There are times, however, when their prices can actually be lower than the aftermarket parts stream, and emission parts is frequently one of those times.

However, this isn't one of those times, and a reman unit can be had for less than $50.

 

AutoZone list them for $59.99 with a $12 core.

I have one - but it would cost plenty to ship it - you on the other side of the continent lol.
