i am trying to figure out if this is a recall
my 85 with lg4 car leaks gas from the tank to my muffler and my buddies ta with an l98 does the same

 

My 91 Z was recalled to replace the fuel tank because there was potential of bad brazing where the filler neck attached to the tank.

Don't remember what years were affected though - guess I was most concerned with mine at the time.
