Power Steering Pump Bracket...

My car originally had a/c, and with my current engine build i wann get rid of that ugly as sin power steering pump bracket. But the only ones i can find are priced more expensive then my left leg is worth on the black market.

My only hope so far was this jegs power steering pump bracket, but its for short style water pumps only. Can it still be used?

what would have to be done to use this? Or is there any other way. currently my power steering bracket is the two pieces, the one held on the a/c compressor, photo below.


What can i do?

I believe I have my old non A/C stock Pwer steering pump brackets if you want. They are even chromed. I'll double check tonite that I still have them.

The problem with the Jegs and Summit generic ones are they tend to push the pump out pretty far to the side by design. Even using a shorter turnbuckle I had a hard time keeping belt tension.

awesome, that'd be awesome if you could check to see if you have yours still. Not many f-body enthusiasts around here to see if they have any.

I really just want a bracket that looks better, the one i have now looks just, horrible, as you can see the only thing shiney about it is that bolt.

Sorry man, guess I did get rid of them. All I have are shiney alt brackets.

darn, anyone got a photo of a saginaw power steering bracket from a car without A/C, i need to ateast know what i am looking for!
