Could this cause the service engine light?
The exhaust on my car was hit from underneath and the passenger side header is broken and/or cracked. Is there a good possibility that this Could cause the engine light to go on? The car has a hesistation when you step down and has no performance. The light goes on and off randomly, and the engine runs fine at idle. The entire exhaust is being replaced from the headers back in a couple weeks. I do not drive the car like that.

oh and believe me its a big exhaust leak. this thing is louder than sidepipes! lol. My neighbors want to kill me every time I start this thing now. Im not even sure the passenger header is connected because I can even see it with everything in the way. Cant wait to spend a grand on that new exhaust

I have no access to any equipment. Im actually only 16 years old and Im still learning new stuff. The car needs a tad of work done to it besides the exhaust anyways, and needs sticker. so im just going to bring it to a friend of the family who owns a shop to get it checked out
