cam install...
What would happen if you just slapped the roller cam in on a late 80's 350 without dialing it in? Is it possible to get lucky and have everything just be ok even though it wasnt? Or would it always be kind of close, but just not correct?
cam
i have to agree as long as u have the dot on the crack sprocket at 12 o'clock and the cam sproket on 6 o'clock u should be fine but if ur puting a bigger cam the timing on the distributer will be different

Thanks guys...I havent built a motor in about 5 years and Im a bit rusty on things. So occasionally I wake up screaming in the middle of the night panicing over something :-p I aligned the marks and its a stock(close enough) 350 roller cam. Just wanted to verify.
