small cam, what heads?
ok, i just build this motor about 2 years ago, and i've only put a couple thousand miles on it. i wanted to know, what is the BEST way if any, to get decent power out of it, without spending over a grand, and without changing the cam???
(I HAVE 1.6 COMP CAMS ROLLER ROCKERS BRAND NEW WITH GUIDE PLATES, UNUSED)
block specs: 355cid
cam specs: mellings; hydraulic flat tappet; .050 duration: 204in 214ex; Valve Lift: .422in .444ex;
intake specs: bone stock TPI, with SLP LS1 injectors 24lbs/hr
cyl heads specs: stock 305 TPI heads
my main concentration is HEADS. i know that this motor will not make a lot of hp, but i know that my heads ARE restricting me a lot. what heads should i go with??

you are wrong, your cam is restricting you more then the heads IMHO.
what's wrong with swapping cams? it'll be a heck of a lot cheaper and easier than heads, and will give more HP

You practically have to take the same parts out to get the heads off anyway- why not go that extra 20 minutes and put a new cam in too?
