Engine: 5.7 TPI 5.0 TBI
Transmission: T-5 , 700R4
Axle/Gears: 2.73 twice
Will this cam be best for heads??
OK, I have the 113 vette heads with the 58cc combustion chambers still to be machined for the valve springs, gonna get them ported and matched with the intake while its out. Also thinking about the xr276 hr-12 cam from comp cams, do you guys think this cam is too big for the heads?

what are the specs?
Best bet will be to have the heads flowed after they're ported and choose the cam accordingly. Have the engine builder/porter reccomend you a cam. No sense on getting a .550" lift cam if the heads die after .500".

The specs for the cam are duration intake 224, exhaust 230; valve lift .503 intake and .51 exhaust, ls of 112 its comp cams grind CS XR276HR-12. Just need some recommendations for the cam to match the heads. Will be using MR with this setup with 21# stock injectors, have to get a custom chip for higher lbs. injectors. All this with the T-5 behind it and a full exhaust with headers.

With a cam that big you will need a new custom chip anyway... Might as well get 24lbs injectors cuz you will need them.
