computer removal

i really couldnt find all i wanted to know so ill start another thread. do all the wires through the passenger fenderwell get disconnected or do some need to stay. There is nothing electrical in the engine bay just the battery and altenator. i dont want my gauges to get screwed up anyway thanks for the advice.

the easiest way to find out is to just disconnect the connector on the ECM. I have done that a few times. everything appeared to be fine while idleing (toosed all the computer controlled engine stuff too)
