Ignition Misfire problem

Well, Got around to looking at my miss problem. I changed the cap and rotor and plugs about a month ago and it did not help it any. The coil is about a year old and looks as fresh as it did when it was put in. The problem i am having is that it likes to miss a bit now. didn't do it last year really it jsut had a miss every now and then. this year once it warms up and you put it in drive it misses horribly. did a little loking into with a timing light on the different wires and 3 or 4 of them are giving an erractic spark (sorta like "1-1-1-11-1-11-111-1-1-1-1" and so on...) I have no idea what it could be other than the ICM.. that was replaced probably 4 years ago. Figure if it is going to cost me the price of a coil and an ICM, vac advance can (might as well replace that too even though it currently works just looks in bad shape as it is old. but still holds vac without bleeding off). It might be cheaper to just buy a new one.

Anyone have any ideas as to what can cause it to do that? like i said I am at a loss. Oh yes.. this is on my 83.. non computer controlled.
