? on heads

? on heads
Finally got to portng my heads and noticed the large holes in my exaust port for the crossover. The ? is if block that off wll there be any negtive effect in pereformance? I can weld the holes shut.

Blocking it off won't hurt performance. It's often done to keep the intake cooler.
