What plugs are you guys running?
Ive been having problems lately with my plugs fowling out. Its an aluminum head 383 stroker, about 11:1 compression, speed demon 750 carb, etc. Everytime i try to start this the plugs fowl out. I leaned the carb out but the plugs are just junk. I can clean them and reinstall them and the car will run fine. These are just champion plugs i used to break the thing in. What do you guys recommend for street use? Also, im using no forced induction or laughing gas. I just want some plugs that wont give me problems. Thanks.

No reason to change if the issue isn't plug related.
If you're running rich, fix it.
FWIW, I've always run a few ranges colder on AC's than spec'ed...from my LS5 454 to my pathetic L-6 235.

I just used some plain old stock champions from meijers to break it in. Im looking for some good plugs that wont fowl up so easily. The car only runs rich on initial start up, then the air/fuel ratio is perfect. Probably just exess gas during start-up.

Best thing to do, is fix the rich start condition, my guess it is also running rich after, but your plugs will tell you for sure.
Thing is, if you run a plug hot enough to mask a rich start condition, you run the risk of detonation at higher/load rpms.
Engines are not like cut's on your chin, they don't respond well to bandaids.
