Heater hose fitting stuck in aluminum intake...help
I have a Performer RPM manifold that has a heater hose fitting and I can not take it out. I have used an impact gun, vise grips and have only managed to damage the fitting. Anyone have experience they care to share? Should I try sticking the intake in the freezer?

You could also try using a little heat from a propane torch or just a good penetrating oil, I prefer Kroil. Let it soak a couple min then take a wrench or whatever you have and work the fitting back and forth. It may not move right away but it should break loose. Another way is to clamp on those vise grips or wrench and just wack it with a hammer to see if it'll break loose.

PB Blaster is about the best penetrant out there! Not even going to ask WHY you would want to take it out of a good intake though. I'm guessing bigger, bader intake. Right? BTW, nice factory alloy's!

If it's a steel fitting in an aluminum manifold the dissimilar metals will have corroded each other nicely. It won't be easy getting it apart.
