HONEST OPINIONS WELCOME

JUST REBUILT 350 SB ADDED LIGHT CAM(480)LIFT DOUBLE ROLLER CHAIN FLAT TOP PISTONS AND HEADS WITH 202 VALVES.TOURQUED HEADS AT 70POUNDS.BUT(THIS IS THE GOOD PART)I TOURQUED THEM ONE ROW AT A TIME STARTING WITH THE MIDDLE,DO I NEED TO TAKE THEM OFF BEFORE I FIRE UP THE MOTOR OR WAS I SOMEWHAT RIGHT,ARE THEY MESSED UP NOW WHAT IS A BOWED HEAD,GEEEZ,HELP ME OUT HERE.

Transmission: 700r4 w/corvette servo
Axle/Gears: no idea
1. You shouldnt really ever talk online in all caps.

2. there is a specific pattern as to how you bolt down the head bolts. If you dont follow this, then you dont evenly apply the pressure as youre torquing the bolts down causing undue stress onto the bolts. You can find out the proper torque pattern by going to your local Auto Zone and asking them for a print out of it.

IT'S PROBABLY NOT THE END OF THE WORLD, NOW THAT THEY'RE ON THERE, YOU CAN'T EXACTLY UNDO ANY DAMAGE YOU MAY HAVE DONE. MIGHT AS WELL FIRE IT UP AND FIND OUT.
WATCH FOR COOLANT IN YOUR OIL (MILKY, FOAMY), OR LOST OIL OR COOLANT, IE, HEAD GASKET LEAKING.

well ive only put the heads on i havent put the rocker arms or liftters on yet so should i take them off and re-tourque them or leave them as is?

start at the center bolt and work in clockwise circular motion. torque in steps, 25lb, 45lb, and finish at 65lb.
