Rough Idle, Help
2 weeks ago my ICM went up and I got stuck on the side of the highway
. So I had the car towed and the next day I installed a new ICM and all has been well. When I installed the ICM I didn't have any dilectric(sp?) grease, so I just put it on and went on my way. Well, I've been worrying about it, so on saterday I took the dist cap and ICM off. I gooped up the bottom of the ICM with dilectric grease and put everything back together. Now my car idles funny and doesn't quit have the same pickup/power.
What did I do to mess this up?

I guess it could be a crappy connection, but I really don't think that I could even screw that up. It seems to have gotten a little better in the past day or so. Could it be possible that I somehow screwed up the cap or rotor? I'm really not sure what could have happened.

Newest update.
Yesterday I took the cap off again. In the process of removing a plug wire, it pulled the brass piece it connects to out of the cap. Is that a culprite? I did take the ICM off and whiped away most of the dilectric grease (I really put way to much on in the 1st place). But when I reassembled everything. The car hasn't changed a bit. It kinda feels like a miss when I'm at idle, but not while I'm accelerating. But when I get to speed, be it 35 or 60, it seems like somethings not quit right. Can anybody please
me. It's really annoying. Should I just go get another cap/rotor? I just put these ones on there in January (Accel) a long with wires and plugs.
Thanks
Kris

Just tossing things up in the air, but did you possibly knock a vac line off while you were in there pulling things apart?
