Code 34 problem, have questions

'89 RS w/2.8 getting a code 34 Mass Airflow....This airflow sensor has only 4K on it, it was a reman unit. Checked the burn off relay on the bench, it is good. Checked the MAF power relay, good too. Checked MAF power at connector, ground, +5, and +12 volts with the key on. With the MAF power and burn-off relay removed, the MAF power at the connector is the same...HUH?
Any suggestions?

Thanks,

Lynd

Check for proper TPS voltage and for air leaks in the entire intake tract.
