Anyone use the GM ZZ3 cam? What do you think of it? I have a line on one for $100. For referance, specs are: 208/221 .050 duration and .474/.510 with 1.5 rockers. Thanks for the input.

I just installed one in the TPI 355 I'm building for the Monte. With any luck, I'll have it fired up next weekend. From what I've seen though, the ZZ3 cam is a good match for a TPI motor.

My previous combo was ported L98 Corvette heads, SLP 1 3/4" headers, flowmaster 3" exhaust, TPIS intake manifold and runners, and a ZZ4 camshaft. Its called a ZZ4 camshaft now since the latest crate engine from GM that uses it is the ZZ4. It made 282 HP and 380 TQ at the wheels thru a 5-speed transmission and 3.45 rear end gears.
