motor rebuild question

http://http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotor...RK%3AMEWA%3AITthis is my first time posting please bear with me.

I have an 89 GTA that has a ROD KNOCK! I'm looking for all the info on an L98
for the purposes of a rebuild.

I purchased the car approx. a year ago. Overall the vehicle is in good shape, but make no mistake, it was rode hard and put away wet.

I have found an 5.7L performance overhaul kit on evil bay,and I talked with someone via hardline, but I'm not sure the person I spoke with knew what they were selling.

For anyone interested in looking I believe I posted the link at the top of the page.

Any and all advise members can give me will be greatly appreciated.

As a side note, the car will be primarily a street driver, with an occasional trip to the strip, and possibly some autocross action thrown in for good measure.
I would like to increase the motors potential, but I am not building a racecar.

Again thanks,
Terry.

don't post links to ebay, they're worthless to anyone doing a search later on. buy your parts from a parts store. do your own research then ask your questions, you'll learn more and get more out of it.
