how cheap?

go to a junkyard and get a 350. $200

get a GM replacement 350, $1800

rebuild that JY 350, replacing what's needed or wanted :$400-5000

i don't think anyone has ever made a post on here that says "i'm going to built my engine and i want to spend as much money as i can" the very cheapest way to go is to buy a JY replacement. you should approach the project more by thinking i'm going to replace everything that needs replaced or fixed and nothing more. the end result will be reflected by the amount of time, effort, and money you put into it.
