Head and manifold bolt torque specs

I'm currently replacing a head gasket on my '84 firebird stock (have it torn apart and cleaned the surfaces, ready to reassemble), but I need to know what to torque the head and manifold bolts to, and what order to do in it. Any help would be great.

Thanks for the suggestion, but I'm gonna pass up on the manual, I shouldn't need it.

But one more thing, what should the rocker arms be torqued to?

Thanks again

the manuel is actually a really good investment. it does tell you about everything. the rocker arms are not tourqed. They are set. you have to get them to zero lash. and then give them and extra half turn.

yes you do need to roll them in your fingers until you feel that there is no more slop. that is zero lash then you need to do 1/2 to 3/4 of a turn more. but there is a sequence to it. only certain ones when the motor is on tdc number 1 and other ones when the motor is on tdc of number 6. I have a haynes and it is very useful when it comes to just about everything with the car.

Chilton's manual says zero lash and then 1 more turn (I know I said I wasn't going to get a manual, but thats because my dad is instructing me and he said we didn't need one, but he finally decided that it might be smart)

Also, in the manual with the rocker arms, it says with it at x position, y valves can be tightened.

In regards to my reassembly, everything was going good until trying to put the intake manifold back on. One of the bolts doesn't want to go in the hole, and I dont know where 2 of the brackets that I put with the manifold bolts go. The manual doesn't help much when I could actually use it :P
