VATS Related Problem?

My 92 Trans Am has the 5.7 L engine and runs like a top when it first starts, but has a problem after it has heated up in warmer weather. It starts to run real rough, and has quit me before getting home sometimes. I often can smell fuel when it starts running rough, and it may has backfired a time or two. After it quits running or I turn it off, it will not crank at all until it has sit and cooled down for an hour or two. I'm not sure if the VATS system is shutting down my fuel injectors and starter when it starts running rough, but from what I have read on this site, it does seem to be the symptoms for not starting. It also sounds like this could be related to my key lock cylinder or the wires that connect to it. I changed out the 5 plug relay that plugs into the VATS control module, but this hasn't fixed the problem. After it has sit for a while and cooled down, it starts instantly and runs like it was just tuned up.

I'm stumped. Anyone have this problem or know what I should check next? Thanks.

P.S. - It has a new ignition control module, new coil, and 1 year old starter & solenoid on it.

Never mind. It's the pick up coil. Thanks.
