Hi, i have a 88 GTA 350 tpi that just started today to keep on dying on me when i put into drive and try to accelerate, but if i take it super easy i can get the speed up to driving range, but still will jerk once in while going down the highway, the worst by far is accelerating from idle,will actually die on me, what can the problem be. Could this be the mass air flow sensor or fuel pump or what do you all think? The check engine light comes on and goes off again but still runs the same. Thanks for any help, Richard

 

had something like that,turned out to be some problem with some ignition wires.I couldnt figure it out so i took it to my repair shop.It took them like 3 hours to trace the problem down

 

sounds like my problems. I had it scoped and read the maf. I am replacing it at the end of the month. I will let you know.
