Hand Held tube bender?
Anybody make a tube bender that will bend tubing bigger than 1/2"? I think I may need to bend some 5/8 to 3/4" tubing.

I certainly haven't seen one... That would be hard as hell to do, you'd have to be a real yard ape.
Bench mounted tube bender, with a snipe handle to bend it, that would work. Those are ~$50 for the el cheapos from harbor freight I think.

this is kinda what I had in mind:
pipe bender, bench mount. The ones with the bottle jack I think are far overkill for what you need.

http://www.mcmaster.com has some handheld ones, catalog page 2182. I have part number 2418A37 for 1/2 inch tubing, used it for my fuel system. That style bender goes up to 1 inch.
Yup, I use a handheld one when I need to bend transmission cooling lines for a swap and/or to clear new exhaust. Not sure where I got mine from (its actually my Uncles) but it can bend 4 different thickness lines, could be used on cooling lines, brake lines, fuel lines, any hardline, etc. One thing though, be sure to be carefull and bend em right, real easy to kink the line with the handheld ones (not good to kink the lines!)

I am an electrician and they make 1/2", 3/4", 1" etc and they are hand held. Home Depot, or any electrical supply house or borrow one from an electrician if you know one.
When I was converting to my new fuel system, I really lucked out. I went to a local rental store, and they happened to have a used one there that I bought for $15.00. I was going there to "rent" one, but I could not pass it up at that price. Probably will never bend 5/8 S/S line again, but at least I have it. Like the other guys said, it will bend a few of the larger sizes, than the normal ones will.
