how do you test vacuum pressure?
how do you check your vacuum line system's pressure? I think it should be pulling 12-14 psi at idle, but how do i find out if it is?

Use a vacuum gauge and hook it up to a vacuum line off your plenum. I pulled over 18in/Hg off mine.

easy enough I guess... 18psi is better it seems, after a bit of research 20+ psi means your car is running optimal... gotta find a vacuum gauge... but since it's about the same price to get a car/dash mountable one and a handheld one, I might as well get the mount one?

Your vacuum gauge will show vacuum in inHg, not psi.
20 or so inHg at idle is fairly normal with a wimpy stock cam. The larger the cam, the lower the vacuum reading.
