bore?

i have an 89 rs with wimpy little 305, thinking about getting it bored out to a 350... any opinions? id be able to keep most everything right? n what heads should i get if i do it

not possible. do a search, comes up too frequently to be discussed in detail.

in short, buy a 350 block.

Largest you could bore/stroke to would be a 335.

Its not possible!

By the time it had a 4" bore in that 305 block the cylinder sleeve would be gone and you would be into the water jacket!


If you want more cubes you can build a stroker or just go buy a different block, your not going to do any substantial cube increases from boring a block!
