Engine bogging!!!

Hey everyone,

I have an 83 trans am with a 305 crossfire injection. When I step on the gas a little harder than usual the engine bogs and almost stalls. It will usually catch and then be okay until I have to come to a stop and then accelerate. Weird thing is i just had a tune up done. I do need to replace the valve cover gaskets because they are leaking oil. Would this cause bogging?? The two problems seem to have occured at the same time.

Thanks for any help

I got a friend with a crossfire injection. those are pretty sweet engines. They tried getting the corvettes in 83 to use them but the had too many electrical problems, maybe you should check loose vacuum hoses, and maybe the control module is fired. If yo gave it a tune up, did you change the filter. maybe the vacuum hose the connects to the flaps on the hood is disconnected? I dont know, nevermind.
