PUSH ROD LENGTH ?
ok went to install new 1.6 roller rockers on heads and decided to check geometry by using the marker on the top of the valve stem. well my witness mark ended up towards the outside of the head.(pushrod too long). used a pushrod checker and seem to need one 7.1 in. stock is 7.2 on a hydraulic roller i think? well cant seem to find pushrods any where in this length they seem to only have them longer for some reason. any ideas ? am i doing this right?
thanks
happy forth to all !

Did the same procedure.
Just some info, my engine was a complete rebuild, heads rebuilt with 30' valve seats ( which sunk the intake valve a hair,) shaved .006", block shaved to 9.015".
Used 1.6 roller tip rockers, checked pushrod length and ended up with 7.050" length for the exhaust valves and 6.950 length for the intake valve. I ordered Manley pushrods through Scoggin Dickey, they were either $8 or $9 each.
They had to be sent directly from Manley and it took about 3 weeks.

I paid 150 to have crane make me some. I went through the same procedure and needed 7.625" all the way around and had to have the custom made. now they sit perfectly in the middle of the valve stem tip.
