305 gasket compressed thickness

Does anyone know the typical compressed thickness of aftermarket head gaskets for the 305 (say, Mr. Gasket, Fel Pro, Victor Reinz, etc)? I have one here that's about 0.05" uncompressed, any guesses as to what it will compress down to when installed?

How about the stock gasket?

When I ripped apart the original 350 from my 92 Camaro I swear it had a composite gasket, not a steel shim. I was expecting a steel shim but that's definitely not what it was.
