I need to know the size of the stock lg4 balancer. 1982 if that makes a difference.

I havent been able to find a friend with a dialback timing light so im going to try this approach.

6-3/4" but the TDC timing mark is designed to work with the 12 o'clock position timing tab that is welded to the front of the timing cover. If you buy a generic aftermarket 6-3/4" balancer it will almost always be designed to work with a more common 1:30 position timing tab and the TDC mark won't line up properly with your existing 12 o'clock timing tab. Just FYI.
