Need Help Car wont turn over!!

ive had everything but the alternator replaced within one year...the batt replaced within 6 months...the car has been starting fine (though a little weak once it starts up...like it starts and then seems like its barely waking up) and i drove it to work...i was low on gas and filled it and drove it home...all the sudden today i turn the key and it just keeps cranking and cranking but refuses to turn over...i tried jumping it and still does the same thing...it just cranks and cranks and wont fire up...where should i check first???...it has had a tune up within the past two or three years w/ac delco plugs...could it possibly be the spark plugs already? fuel delivery?

plz any help or advice would be great im kinda stuck right now

So the motor is turning over, but not catching right? It's not just making clicking noises and such right?

Fuses, fusable links, then make sure you are getting spark, fuel and air. After we get that info, we can start the real troubleshooting.

yes the car is making the initial turn over noise...like its right on the brink of turning over...and starting up but it just keeps revving or however you want to put it...ill check the fuses tomm and try to let you guys know...my best guess as of now is that its my sparkplugs/plug wires...they arent old but i know my fuel pump is relatively new as well and my distributer cap was rebuilt when the new starter and fuel pump were put in

I guess I come from a different world. When you turn the key is the motor "rotating" and just not actually starting or is it never even turning over at all. Not turning over means it never even spins when the key is turned to me. Spinning over and not starting is something altogether different. That could be anything from a simple coil problem to a hall-effects sensor not firing the injectors.........to a few "dozen" other thing..... please get the verbage correct so someone can give you a better idea where to look.
