HELP >< ?car problems?

I dont know if this is the right place for this tread. I have got a 1985 Camaro, auto trany and when I step into the gas (all the way) the thing does not move. It shifts fine, Just when the throttle is all the way in it does not want to move. When I step into the throttle half way it does move. I think it might be a vac. leak? Just want to know if anyone knows what that is. It down shifts fine, shifts up fine, burns out, and this funnest thing ever is I raced a honda vtec civic and win!! lol half throttle! back to subjest lol....Any ideas?
thx shane

I had a car that used to do that to me. It was my fuel filter. If i got on it the filter wouldent be able to flow well enough and would act like it was going to die.
