Where should LT1 cam set my redline at?

I have been searching for LT1 engine specs for a while and cannot find a solid answer. Where does the LT1 cam set my redline at?

I wouldn't push the stock bottem end much over 5,500 rpm.

very cool scott, thanks!

but yea, valve springs and cam would set your redline, but the bottom end is what would make you uneasy i'd think.
Call it 5500RPM and whip out a sharpie

Regularly take mine to 6000 rpms were I have the shift light set. On one autocross course I have video of me hitting the shift light and keeping the pedal to the floor for an another second and a half in second gear before I let off. I ran the course like that at least 6 times.

Your set-up should be comparable to a stock LT1. Stock LT1 motors made peak power at around 5800 rpm so a nice 6k redline is what you should be looking at.

according to that link in the second or third post it says that the peak hp is met at 5k even. I do not know if i can go 6 anyways... when I do I usually throw my Vbelt off lol... If it is legit I will go for the 6k.... i do not want to sell my self short on a race./

Redline for a stock LT1 is 5700rpm while the LT4 is 6300rpm.
