intake manifold

im just a little new to prerformance but my question is if i change my intake manifold does it increase preformance? im running a stock 305 tbi 92 rs camaro and what intake should i get?

On a bone stock LO3 motor you will see little to zero gains with just an intake manifold. The stock exhaust and air cleaner are the largest bottlenecks. Unless you address those two issues (headers back, and new air cleaner) any mod you add will yield minimal power.

Your best bet is to wait on an intake until you are ready to put a cam in at the same time. The stock intake is more than capable of feeding the stock (small) cam.
