Buick 4.1L V6 Engine re-assembly questions.
Buick 4.1L V6 Engine re-assembly questions.
Hi there...I have a few questions about my 1983 4.1L V6 Buick motor...
1.) When I put my heads back on, what do I torque them to?
2.) What is the firing order for this engine?
3.) Are passenger side cylinder #s 1,3,5 or 2,4,6? (Drivers side is obviously gonna be the opposite).
Any help is greatly appreciated!!
THANKS!
-Rick

1.) Go around 4 times starting in the center working out in a circular pattern. The spec is 80 ft/lbs. I would go around at 50, 65, 80 and then again at 80.
2 and 3

All we ask here is that questions have some 3rd gen applicability. The 4.1 Buick engine is the same basic engine design as the 3.8 TTA, so I'll let this slide this time.
However, there have been many rules-skirting or rules-violating comments here, so I'm going to exercise my mod prerogative and do some janitor work before this is
