Theses are all of each item in the 1997 AC delco emissions and fuel injection component catalog. The catalog is up to date for our cars, but has been updated and rereleased and is now about 5 times as thick due to all the new cars with more and more emissions and fuel injection equiptment

These are all of the oem numbers, there reman numbers too. You can assume the flow ratings of most of them, i did only find one injector number that is for the 454's another of the "na" numbers could also be 454. if anybody can find the time to research these na #'s please do so and get back to me.

If anybody has one of the na numbers on their injectors and knows what it came off of or has it on their car at this time, please post a reply accordingly. Thanks.

Also if you have an injector that has a number other than this, and you know it was an oem injector, please reply.
Or if you have a reman number and are positive of its application and/or flowrating please post a reply.

Snflupigus,

These are great pieces of info. But how do I identify the injectors that I have sitting in my hand? They are orange tipped. Which should indicate 350 p/u. Yet my 89 9C1 Caprice with L05 has orange tipped injectors too. According to the charts I've seen these should be yellow/brown? Were there different injectors for the L05 Caprices in the later years, 91-93?

The injectors I have also have the following #s in them GM 5235206*RPD and 9180 GM.

I'm just finishing up doing the ultimate TBI modes for my 89 9C1. I was going to swap injectors and use what's there but if they are the same there's no point. I might as well go looking for some bigger ones.

Thanks for that link! From the picture there things are much clearer now. I thought the talk about colors was the color of the plastic around where the wires hook to the injector. I didn't understand that the color was painted on the injectors. Time to go take a second look at the 9C1 now.

OK I finally got to look at the 9c1 today. Based on the numbers stamped into the top of the injectors I have 350 truck injectors in my 89 L05 9c1. However, they are different from the 350 truck injectors that I have sitting on the bench. There is a 2nd set of numbers stamped into them. The ones on the bench read 9180GM while the ones in the 9C1 read 3169GM. Is there any significance to the different numbers????

there are many different numbers with the same flow ratings. Because the numbers are specific to the make/model/year. while the flow ratings... well, only we care. dealers only know make/model/year. same flowing injector on two apps = same flow rate. i dont know, i really wish i knew how to get a hold of somebody at delco to talk to them about this.

This is from the crossfire forum.

You can identify the injectors you have from the numbers stamped on them

There is a partnumber and a date stamped on the top of the injector.

Partnumber format: GM523xxxx*RPD, where RPD = Rochester Products Devision, xxxx is dependant of injector size and application




- Date format: xyyz, where x = month, yy = day, z = year (1=January, 2=Ferbruary, 3=March, 4=April, 5=Mai, 6=June, 7=July, 8=August, 9=September, O=October, N=Novermber, D=December) .

For example: 8202 = August 20th, 1982.


Below is the Crossfire injectors.

So, from the specs I have 40 PPH injectors in my LO3? And going to the HOLLEY TBI bumps it up to 57 PPH injectors. Confirm this please.

Clarification needed.
The chart says that the injectors are rated at a factory setting of 13 psi. I have seen on this board that the cars are set at 10 psi. Does this mean a 40 lb injector is only good for 31 lb/hr in the cars?

IIRC the stock factory TBI fuel pressure spec is 9 to 13 psi. If within
that range the fuel pressure is OK.

Some of the above flow ratings were done by individuals on a
flow bench.
