EGR SOLENOID WIRING

On my 87 gta 350 TPI I need to know if anybody knows what the black/pink that comes off of the egr solenoid because my was cut and I have no idea where it goes. The plug has a gray wire and the black/pink on it. I know the gray wire goes to the ecm but I don't know about the black/pink wire. THANKS
