Balanced Engine Kit
Well, tomorrow i'm goin to yank an engine out, probably one out of my buddies truck since i still want to be able to move the car around till the engine is done..
and i'm provided i get final approval (which i should) i'll have a check tomorrow from my loan..
so a few days ago i was searching the site and found a link to enginekits.com which has what seems like some decent deals..
so what do you guys think of these combos

i'm not gonna order anything till i have to engine torn down but i'm pretty much trying to spec everything out.
the rest of the engine that i have spec'd so far is gonna look like
64cc Performer RPM heads
Performer RPM Air Gap Intake (i'm taking all the advice given on the torker)
Comp Cams XE274H or XE284H (i haven't decided yet)
Crane Cams Energizer Pushrods
from what i read i can get away with 11.1 compression with aluminum heads if i run 93.
also will i need a new flywheel and harmonic balancer with this engine? or can i use the ones off of the old engine?
also i called my local machine shop and they said they don't magnaflux.. so how important is it that i do this to the engine?

Don't buy anything until you have the motor out and see what it needs. Resist the temptation to just start blowing money on stuff, until you see what's REALLY wrong and what's not. And, what heads are already on it.
I especially wouldn't be getting all wound up over some push rods just yet.
If your block supports a roller cam, I'd sure be looking at going that route, rather than risking the problems that flat-tappet cams have these days (which you're already fairly well acquainted with, first-hand); and what's wrong with them isn't the fault of the cams themselves or of Lunati or Comp or whoever else people want to bash, but rather the current formulations of oil. Basically something you can't overcome easily with anything but pure dumb luck.
If you current block isn't leaking anything, you don't need to magnaflux it. That's for finding cracks. You might want to do it to some core bare block you just bought, to check for cracks; but since yours has been running in your presence and is known crack-free, it wouldn't be a particularly wise use of money even if they did offer it.

I know, i'm not going to buy anything till i hear from the the machine shop.. and the block i'm going to use is coming out of an old c10 (not sure if its original or not) but its definently not a roller cam.
and while myself I would rather have a nice set of dart or trickflow heads.. the fact that i can order the edelbrock heads at advance auto and get my 20% discount on them has kinda made me favor them for the build..
the main reason i'm using a different block is because last time i used my engine hoist, the hoist slid into the front bumper, and i'm not risking my new paint job... and when i build another engine, the guy that painted the car for me told me that when i got a new engine i could bring the car up, and he has an overhead hoist in his garage that would pull it straight up n out. then we could just drop the new one right in.
and i'm getting the block off my buddy who said i can have it as long as he gets my current one. so essentially i'm not payin anything for the new to me engine..

ok, i'm confused too.. wtf are you talking about. if you referring to the engine coming out of the c10, its still a 350 block, just early 70's...
