Cam susgestions?
Well. We went a little over board tonight. I gotta give the back ground of the car. It's a FrankenCamaro which is mostly 1987 IrocZ.
She's got the 700R4 with ~2,000 RPM stall, the 350 TPI and B/W 9 bolt rear end so i guess that's the most important piece of it. Lastly, a 100 or 125Hp shot of Nitrous. I didnt' pull the needles to confirm but I'm told it's the 125HP. It's got headers and a single-3" mandrel bent exhaust and Flowmaster. Oh, and a stock prom with MSD Blaster2 Coil.
I didnt' build the car just bought it this way from a friend. It's sat a long time and I'm bringing her out of retirement.
The motor needed fresheded up as it was starting to use a little oil any way but tonight, we found a mustang and went a little overboard on the Nitrous. No worries, but I do need to bump that motor refresh up a little sooner than later. Can anyone recommend a good cam for this set up?
The biggest changes I plan in the rebuild is the Edelbrock base plate and runners and I want to increas the fuel pressure with an adjustable regulator. I'm also going to install a new fuel tank and fuel pump as the pump is starting to whine and my pressure is dropping. "That's why we had issues tonight" I'm also looking at the BBK 50 something MM TB. 58mm might be a tad large for my needs.
Any Advice would help
