how do u time a car?
how do i time my 1984 camaro 305? line up notch with 6 degrees b4 top dead? then go from there? never did it b4 thanks

Engine: SLOW carbed ls
Transmission: TH400 with brake, 8" PTC converter
Axle/Gears: moser 9" 4.11
get a timing light and then read the instructions that come with it. put the clip on #1 cylinder then point it at the balancer timing tab and push the button. don't forget to disconnect the EST wire which is shown in a haynes type manual.
