New car to me, some questions regarding the cam...
Here is the build on the car I just bought last weekend.
86 SC, 305 LG4, TH700R4, SLP headers, 3" cat and exhaust. ZZ intake, Mild cam 204/214, .423/.442. SLP shift kit, richmond 3.73's w/limited slip. Suspension Techniques Sway Bars, Globel West Wonderbar, Poly everything bushings, Metco LCA's, Lakewood Panhad Rod. 16" ROH, with BFG G-Force KDW 245's and Tokico springs with 5 way shocks. Formerly 86SCBJN's ride.
I like the car a lot, it handles like its on rails. Its runs well too, other than a wierd electrical problem that causes a miss at lower rpms only, something or other in the ignition.
I'm curious as to what you guys think the effective powerband of this build is. The car feels real strong from 3500 on up to 5500, I haven't pulled it past there for fear of the stock valve train not liking it. What do you guys think, is that too far, does the cam support that, etc...

That's the summit 1102 I think. Look it up and find out, I think they say 1000-4000RPM or something. It's a generic cam, made by everybody out there. I would upgrade the springs on it, if they haven't been yet.
The rest of the car sounds pretty good, fun ride eh?
Slower than your TPI IROC?
