tired of car again!

ok my car has been running like **** for a while now...... it finally started to idle right and good running temp, but it has lack of power basically no throttle response, and it diesels.... i had paid 3 people to time it and im not sure if they no what there doin.... im not sure if my carberator needs adjusted cause i put on headers and a edlebrock performance intake.... new plugs wires cap rotor u name it i changed it... does carb need to be set different for getting more air with headers and intake? or do i need to adjust something else?

1984 chevy camaro 305.......

What kind of carb are you running. And i also had a 305 in my camaro and another thing that helps throttle response is a carb spacer. Just remember to check hood clearance if you get one.
