Lost my crank bolt :(
Can't find my crank bolt (Took it out a year or so ago when I pulled the engine) Can I get a replacement at my local hardware store or is it a special bolt? Anyone know size and thread and such?

the main center bolt?
Yea, it's like a 7/16"NF bolt, with a thick head, lockwasher, and super thick fender washer. Gr8 or better.
I just asked for a "crankshaft bolt for a SBC", and got a little kit that included all those parts. Something like $4.

If you feel rich, an ARP 134-2501 would work.
Your local machine shop probably has a bucket of stock ones.

ARP has them, Mr. Gasket has them (although I'd think twice about that one), and probably every SBC in the junkyard has one as well - and those are usually free
